    Account Executive

    We are looking for an Account Executive to join our team at Americo. The Account Executive is responsible for building and maintaining positive business relationships with IMOs and their staff.  They will work with assigned IMO accounts to help grow profitable sales results consistent with Americo’s overall sales goals.  The Account Executive will develop and implement a valid business plan with each IMO account to help them build their business with Americo.  They will plan and conduct sales meetings, and monitor quality of business to ensure that the business produced is valuable to our organization.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Assist IMO in producing profitable sales results consistent with Americo’s sales objectives
    • Initiate field meetings with IMO and their agents to educate them on Americo products and services
    • Monitor production of IMO to identify sales trends and opportunities relative to products and VNB
    • Participate in the development and implementation of IMO sales plans and obtain production commitment
    • Conduct training sessions for other departments within the company
    • Adhere to departmental budget constraints
    • Provide information on market trends and competitors to VP Sales and CMO
    • Present Americo in a manner consistent with its corporate image

    JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Knowledge of industry trends, changes, challenges, and new sales opportunities
    • How Americo products compare to competitors, and what features and services differentiate Americo
    • What competitive influences exist in the marketplace that present opportunities and challenges for Americo
    • Well versed in current tax policies and issues that may affect Americo products
    • Strong understanding of Americo Operations area’s processes and procedures
    • In-depth understanding of each IMOs method of operation, product distribution, lead generation, agent recruiting and compensation
    • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, written and oral, for effective, self-confident, interaction with all levels of company personnel and external business partners
    • Ability to build “Trust” relationships with IMO principals and agents
    • Ability to travel significantly, in some cases on short notice
    • Creative problem solving abilities
    • Self-starter who can initiate activity and handle multiple priorities in order to achieve Americo’s goals and objectives
    • Persuasive and convincing presentation skills
    • Bachelor's Degree
