Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Location: Remote
Clearance: Active IRS MBI preferred, Public Trust eligible

Role Overview:
As a Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer, you will lead work stream quality assurance efforts for complex and diverse software systems. Your role will involve developing and implementing testing strategies to ensure the highest quality of software products. You will work closely with development teams to identify, document, and resolve defects.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Test Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive test plans, strategies, and cases.

·       Leadership & Mentorship: Lead work stream QA functions, providing guidance and mentoring to junior QA engineers and Java developers for testing integration activities.

·       Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects through their lifecycle.

·       Automation & Tools: Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using tools like Selenium, JUnit, and TestNG.

·       Performance Testing: Conduct performance testing to ensure software meets performance standards.

·       Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to understand requirements and design effective test cases.

·       Continuous Improvement: Implement best practices in QA processes and continuously seek improvements.

·       Reporting: Create detailed test reports and present findings to stakeholders.

·       Required Qualifications:

·       Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline with 5+ years of relevant QA experience, or

·       Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline with 7+ years of relevant QA experience, or

·       9+ years of relevant QA experience.
