At Aurora Flight Sciences, we design, build, and fly advanced aircraft and enabling technologies from concept to reality. We are searching for a talented and self-motivated Core Quality Manager to help us create the future of flight. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
-Performs management activities across the Material Review Board, Calibration/Certification, Quality Assurance Investigations, and Quality Specialist functions for the Aurora Flight Sciences Enterprise.
-Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies.
-Provides education and coaching on the Quality System.
-Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements.
-Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports.
-Manages, develops and motivates employees.
-Additionally this role will be responsible for developing, automating, and operationalizing Quality metrics for NpK/DPK, COPQ, Utilization, QMS, etc.
-5+ years of experience in Manufacturing/Quality.
-5+ years performing Root Cause Corrective Action.
-5+ years of experience relative to Material Review Board Processes.
-3+ years of experience developing and deploying Quality metrics.
-Must be a US Person.
-5+ years of experience in Aerospace Manufacturing/Quality.
-5+ years of experience relative to Aerospace Material Review Board Processes.
-SQL, DataBricks, PowerBI Experience.
-ABET Accredited Degree in Engineering or related field.
-Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and wear proper PPE.
-Follow Boeing regulations for lifting; consistently stand, stoop, crawl, bend, crouch, climb, and kneel.
-May be required to support extended hours.
-Work onsite in Bridgeport, WV or Columbus, MS.
