General Job Overview:

The Configuration Management CM/DM Analyst will execute and support defense configuration management (CM) programs for DoD acquisition, development, production and sustainment programs. Writes, maintains, and updates CM planning documents to include government

Configuration Management Plans (CMP), Configuration Control Board (CCB) charters, data management plans, configuration audit plans, and Intellectual Property (IP) strategies. Facilitates and supports CCBs and coordinates activity for the CCB review and feedback. Assesses data rights and determine what strategy is necessary per mission requirements. Prepares and participates in/conducts technical briefings in support of technical interchange meetings and major program reviews and understands CM roles and responsibilities with regard to successful outcome (entry/exit criteria).

Prepares, releases, and controls CM technical data baselines that include drawings, models, specifications, interfaces, and software. Facilitates and coordinates engineering change activity reviews and disposition via Government CCBs. Reviews and prepares Engineering Change Proposals (ECP), Notices of Revision (NOR), Engineering Release Records (ERR), and Requests for Variance (RFV). Supports the planning and conduct of functional and physical configuration audits.


BS in related field

Minimum 5 years of experience in related field

Possible travel

Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
